We, Lina and Marco, are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the proud owners of Casa Lima. Along with our two daughters, we make up a close-knit and adventurous family with a unique combination of Dutch and Lithuanian heritage. We have a shared love for travel and are always seeking new experiences. Lina has worked as a General Practitioner’s assistent and Marco as an HR Consultant in healthcare and higher education industry in The Netherlands. In addition to our professions, we share a passion for interior design and derive immense satisfaction from bringing smiles to people’s faces. Living life to the fullest is what we do best!

Our love story with Casa Lima began when we first laid eyes on the house, its picturesque location, and the charming town of Alhaurín el Grande. This year, our dream came true as we were able to purchase the house and open our doors to travelers from all corners of the globe.

In today’s fast-paced world, finding a space to unwind and relax is essential, especially when on vacation. Having backpacked across the globe and embarked on numerous adventures, we understand the importance of feeling at home in a new place. Warm hospitality, authenticity, and comfort can truly enhance the overall experience. At Casa Lima, we have blended traditional Andalusian charm with our own personal touch to create a welcoming and cozy atmosphere.

The creation of Casa Lima sparked a series of profound decisions in our lives. Inspired by this new chapter, we made the bold choice to leave The Netherlands and begin a new adventure in Spain. As from August we are residing near Alhaurín el Grande, embracing a simpler, off-grid lifestyle under the radiant Andalusian sun, eager to reconnect with ourselves and nature. We embark on this journey with open hearts, ready to embrace whatever life may bring our way. As the saying goes, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”
